Information about Botanical Gardens and Living History FarmPosted on: December 1, 2019, by : FLCadmin
We have been getting a number of calls and emails recently with questions about the Bonhoeffer Botanical Gardens, Little Red Schoolhouse Preschool, and the Living History Farm which are near Freeborn Lutheran Church. These operations are run by the Pilchuck Learning Center Preschool (PLC) not by Freeborn Church. We had previously partnered together on some events, but in the past year and a half we have learned some extremely troubling information about that relationship, and have permanently severed all ties with PLC. You can find information about their operations and contact information on their website.
For comments or complaints about the various projects under construction, you are invited to contact Paul MacCready with Snohomish County. Mr. MacCready is the County’s project manager for Pilchuck Learning Center’s Conditional Use Permits and the variety of building, occupancy, wetland, and other code violations that the County and other agencies have issued on the Preschool/Gardens and on the History Farm: Paul.Maccready@snoco.org; be sure to reference File # 19-108914 CUP.
